Please Note: You cannot make an online donation to the Artist Fund. The Artist Fund Transmittal Form above must accompany your donation.

The Artist Fund makes it possible for individuals, foundations and corporations to match a gift with their own artistic interests and values. Through the Artist Fund, philanthropists foster relationships with artists by designating grants to be offered in specific areas or disciplines.

The Fund permits you to make donations of $1,000 or more within parameters as broad or as narrow as you wish. That means, for example, you can restrict the grant to a specific discipline, project, locale, age range, sex, or ethnicity. While the ultimate decision about who ultimately receives the grant rests with NYFA, you may recommend artists who fit the established parameters. (Federal law does not permit a donor to designate the recipient of a re-grant, fellowship, or scholarship. Additionally, neither the donor nor the donor's immediate family can receive any benefit from a grant made from the Artist Fund.)

The Artist Fund is designed to be as flexible as possible under current tax regulations. We are required by law to advise you that NYFA maintains exclusive legal control over the distribution of assets.

The grant can be funded in a variety of ways and money may be donated now to the Artist Fund with specific restrictions established at a later date.

To make a contribution to the Artist Fund, please use the Artist Fund Transmittal Form available here in PDF format.
