Host an Artists & Audiences Exchange Event

Artists & Audiences Exchange (A&AE) is a NYFA public program that brings high quality multidisciplinary arts programming into local communities throughout New York State. A&AE provides recipients of the NYFA Artists’ Fellowship Award with an opportunity to design projects with non-profit, arts-focused organizations, which are offered free to the general public.

Artists & Audiences Exchange brings award-winning, contemporary artists to the audiences of non-profit organizations throughout New York State. Sponsors, the organizations that host A&AE projects, are able to offer their audiences high quality arts programs at a minimal cost.

Potential Sponsors who would like to learn more about hosting an A&AE project can download the Guidelines for Artists and Sponsors, a document which describes in detail how the program operates. Organizations then complete and submit a Sponsor Profile Form, which allows NYFA to supply organizational information to participating artists.

Click here to see a list of current Sponsoring Organizations. Currently, more than 70 Sponsors participate, ranging from grass-roots to large scale organizations.

A&AE projects are designed by the artists, and produced and promoted by both the artist and Sponsor.
