BUILD: NYC Dance Company Grants
Building Up Infrastructure Levels for Dance (BUILD) aims to assist the development of the organizational environment so that time and resources are available to create, conceive and advance dance companies' artistic missions.

The BUILD 2010 application cycle is now open. Please download the Application and Guidelines to find out complete information for this year's process.

We are pleased to announce a new level of support for NYC dance companies with budgets under $35,000: BUILD Stability. BUILD Stability awards emergency grants of $1000-$2,500 to small companies that are facing an immediate financial challenge.

The deadline for both grants is March 15, 2010.

BUILD awards operating grants to small and mid-sized dance companies based in New York City. These grants of $10,000 and $20,000 provide funds to choreographers seeking to enhance their companies' infrastructure and management capacity. Grants can be used for a range of activities as long as the primary focus is on infrastructure support and maintenance.

To receive BUILD updates by email, please register at the bottom of this page (if you have not done so in the past).
